Towards the end of 2008, Detune were both delighted and honoured to be invited by Conrad Maldives Rangali Island resort to perform at an exclusive ‘Staff Party’ for the employees, management and executives. Quite a feather in Detune’s cap!
On 16th January 2009 at the world renowned resort (the premium brand of the Hilton Group and twice voted ‘Best Hotel in the World’) Detune found themselves in front of an audience of people from many countries and cultures - all looking to have a great time.
With a DJ also available to play records during their break and after the performance, Detune entertained in their own inimitable style with a rich mix of popular Disco tunes and a unique medley of traditional and classic Maldivian songs.
The night was another success for all concerned. So successful in fact, from Detune’s perspective, that they received many requests to extend their performance rather than the DJ play records (sorry Mr DJ)!!
